Welcome to our website, wherever you are from in the world
We like to do things a little differently to other designers and vloggers, so, if this is your first time visiting, take some time to watch our intro video below, as it summarises exactly what we do. Â
In a nutshell, we design SVGs for cutting machines and PNG images for sublimation, and we provide high resolution mock-up and stock photographs to help our clients’ products stand out and from other sellers. We view this as as way to “Work Smarter NOT Harder”, as the photographs can be used to gauge interest before purchasing in any stock and materials. More so, where we value our clients’ loyalty over profit, our products are exclusively sold here. You can visit our shop via the top menu, shop icon on the top right, or scroll down to the shop categories on this page. Â
We also create video tutorials; provide links to free or heavily discounted fonts and images; and finally have a resources section, where you will find articles with printable cheat sheets.  If you are a Cricut user, we have interactive tables that show you the differences between the Cricut cutting machines, tools and blades, and we provide links to free projects which we have designed ourselves and have shared through Cricut Design Space.

- New and unique artwork – some of our PNG images may include elements covered under the transformative artwork license.

offer professional mock-up and stock photographs to help our clients attract new customers or to gauge interest before buying in stock.
- Our designs can be used by anyone irrespective of experience. We include detailed instructions, plus a list of tools and a materials required with all our designs.
- Product tutorials are uploaded for some of our designs. These will be included with the product listing online.
- Helping you. We want our website to be intuitive. We have therefore added a dedicated resources area where we are uploading articles, tips, cheat sheets and videos. These are organised by category, and they can be easily found either by using the advanced search bar or filters.
- Need inspiration? ‘Let’s Create Together” is an area on our website that has a selection of craft along video tutorials.
- Going above and beyond. We share links to free or heavily discounted fonts and images from safe and reputable websites who we use ourselves. We only recommend products where a commercial license is included, unless specified.
- Supporting other businesses – we plan to bring you a wide variety of discount codes on products and software, and provide a list of preferred suppliers.
- You choose. We don’t like receiving irrelevant emails, neither should you. You can sign up to receive a monthly newsletter or you can view archived newsletters online.
- Let’s mingle. Join our Facebook group for the latest updates. You’ll need to be active or need to have “all notifications” switched on, to ensure you see when new products are launched.

About us
Aqua Design Studio is a professional graphic design agency and video content creator, with 30+ years’ corporate experience using almost all design suite and word processing software throughout the decades.
All of our products are created in-house using Corel and Adobe software, and we use professional photography equipment and lighting to create high quality mock-up and stock photographs to help our client’s online stores stand out from other sellers.
In addition, we spent time to create video tutorials using specialist vlogging cameras, edited by professional software.
We have worked alongside printers and sign makers, marketing and brand agencies, market research agencies, and finally training and consultancy agencies, so we have a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to understanding different file formats and colour reference charts.

Advanced filtering
From the shop page, our digital designs, mock-up and stock photographs can be searched by occasion, machine, tools and material type. Articles and videos are separated by category and can be filtered by keyword.

Below are links to FREE fonts and images. From the affiliate tab on the top menu are one dollar deals and heavily discounted bundles. This tab will also be used for offers and discount codes on equipment and materials.
Recources
You can find articles, video tutorials, then tips and cheat sheets which are downloadable and printable. In addition, there are interactive tables which can be used to show a comparison between Cricut machines, blades and tools.
Archived newsletters
Our aim is to send out a newsletter once a month. We will announce the launch of new designs, and recently added articles and video tutorials. If you don’t feel comfortable signing up, there will be an option to read our archived newsletters online.
Copyright
We take copyright seriously, so any links we’ve provided for fonts and images automatically include commercial licenses for use on end products unless stated otherwise. We have also provided guidance on copyright under our resources section.
Our aim is to keep this website engaging and intuitive, so we encourage you to interact with posts by commenting and leaving product reviews.  If you are unhappy with anything, before leaving a review, we urge you to contact us in the first instance, to provide us with an opportunity to rectify any issue first.
You can support our business by using affiliate links, however, it is not necessary. If using the affiliate links, we do recommend that you do a price comparison before purchasing anything, as links with offers may no longer be valid.  Where licensing can be confusing with digital products, we only recommend websites and platforms who we have used ourselves. Furthermore, the websites we recommend automatically include a commercial license for use on end products, so these can be used on end products if you sell.Â

Our digital products
Cutting files (SVGs), printable images (PNG), mock-up photographs and stock photographs are exclusive to this website, to help protect our artwork from copyright infringement, and also to limit sales to support clients who purchase from us. If you have an online store, we recommend that you watermark all of your product photographs with your company logo or name to prevent others from using them without your permission.
Whilst we don’t currently offer bespoke artwork, we plan to provide templates for Microsoft products, and stationery which can be edited and printed by those people who are already familiar with Microsoft products, but don’t necessarily know how to set them up. This will include relatively straight forward accounting Excel spreadsheets with formulas for small businesses.
With our SVGs, we pay attention to the detail and quality, and test cut designs rigorously before releasing. Although we predominantly cut on Cricut machines, our SVGs are compatible with other cutting machines. In the event of any incompatibility issues, we can usually help to identify the issue, as we own premium licensed copies of other software such as Silhouette Studio Business, although we do use Corel and Adobe products for designing, photography and editing, as there are less likely to be issues.
Our designs can be used by anyone, irrespective of experience. They come with detailed instructions, we list all materials and tools needed, provide recommended cut settings where alternative materials have been used, and provide techniques and tips. Where people have different learning styles, for some of our products products there will be a video tutorial showing every step.
To support small businesses, some of our designs have an option to purchase a high quality mock-up and/or a stock photograph as an add-on purchase. The purpose of this is to help you “Work Smarter NOT Harder”, as you use the photograph to list your product online to gauge interest without making a single purchase of supplies. It is however advisable that you check you can purchase the same or similar supplies before listing, and perhaps leave a note on your store to let potential customers know of any small changes, plus lead times for personalising and delivery.
Buying through our online store
The website has been set up for registered users only (no guest checkout). We use Google ReCAPTCHA and 2 factor authentication. This is to help protect your personal information. It costs nothing to register, and once you have registered and logged in, you will be able to place an order, download your product(s) and leave reviews.
To provide an overall customer experience, once you have registered, you will have your own personal dashboard, where you can preview orders and downloads, can update your account information, and add your preferred payment method for a faster and more secure checkout experience. Lastly, downloads for all products are set to unlimited, so if your device or computer fails or is stolen, you can just login and download the product again without the need to contact us. Providing you are the end user, you can download the files to as many devices as you need.
Below are the main categories for the designs we plan to release. Advanced filters on the product page help you to narrow down your search to sub-categories, type of materials used, gender, price etc. This is helpful if you are looking to make a gift for someone, but don’t know where to start, or perhaps you/your customer has a limited budget.
- With the mock-up photograph, it gives you an opportunity to change the colour, or personalise the SVG design in Cricut Design Space or another cutting machine software. You just upload the photograph and place it behind the SVG, flatten, and take a screen shot (with the grid turned off). It’s then ready to upload to your online store.
- The stock photograph can be uploaded to your online store just as it is to gauge interest.
Overview of our digital products
Our aim is to build an online store which includes a broad range of digital cutting files, printable images, and professional mock-up and stock photographs. It will take time to add to our collection, as our priority is to ensure we provide the best service possible to all of our clients, by including comprehensive instructions with every design, and for more complexed designs, we will be adding video tutorials.
Below you will find the main categories which we will be adding to. In addition, you will be able to use advanced product filters to help you find something more specific, or you can filter designs by product, material type and tools used. For those who use Cricut cutting machines, we’ve even added a filter so you can select your machine. This means you won’t see digital products that you are unable to make on your machine.

Recommended platforms for free fonts and images
At Aqua Design Studio, we take the time to look for FREE images and fonts, OR heavily discounted deals to help our followers, crafters and small businesses. We only recommend reputable websites and platforms, where they automatically include a commercial license for use on end products. This means you do not need to worry about infringing copyright if you make and sell handmade goods. However, should you plan to use images and fonts for anything else, or use the digital products for Print on Demand (POD), you will need to check the terms and conditions of the license from the website or platform from where you have downloaded your product(s).
We have used some affiliate links to the external websites. This doesn’t cost you anything, however, we may earn a small referral commission should you go on to purchase an item or take out a subscription. All recommended websites/platforms are secure (you will see a closed padlock next to the website name). We do however recommend that you use an anti-virus software to protect yourself from unwanted viruses if you regularly download fonts and images from other websites.
Free fonts and images
The icons below will take you to reputable websites and platforms where you will find thousands of FREE fonts and images that include licenses for commercial use for end products. If you register your email address with these platforms and opt-in for email alerts, you will automatically be sent links to freebies.
One dollar deals, discounted bundles and all access/lifetime use
Each website/platform has a tab or area where you can usually find one dollar deals on fonts and images. More so, if you take a look around on each website, you are likely to come across a tab or link for heavily discounted bundles, all access memberships and lifetime membership for one single fee.
Bundles are ideal around Christmas time or other holidays, or they are ideal if you are looking to increase your variety of system installed fonts. The links below include a good mix of one dollar deals and events on several platforms and websites, and also include offers on bundles. We’ve included a few links which show examples of all access for life for a one off payment or instalments – some of these offers are too good to be true, and some are even too good to miss. All recommendations are with websites and platforms who we have used in the past or currently use.
It is easy to get tempted by the deals or pop-ups, so it’s best to plan ahead, in terms of establishing which types of images, fonts or deals you really need, as apposed to just buying them on impulse because you like them. You can separate fonts and images into categories help to curb spending:
- Font types for writing, cutting or printing
- Images for cutting and drawing (SVGs)
- Images/clipart for printing
Single line fonts and images explained
If you are looking to use your Cricut cutting machine (or another brand of cutting machine) to write, draw, foil or engrave, you will need to purchase specific single line fonts, or use those provided within the software that you use with your cutting machine.
Single line fonts differ to ordinary fonts, as they do not have an outline, so they cannot be used in word processing programs on Windows/Mac machines. Â
There are single line fonts which work in Cricut Design Space and other cutting software programs, and these fonts also work in the professional graphic editing suites such as Adobe and CorelDraw. Before making a purchase of any single line fonts, it is advisable to check that the font works in the software you are using, as it is unlikely you will get a refund for an incorrect purchase.
You also need to check whether the fonts are true single line (hairline) fonts and not signature or writing fonts. These should not be confused as you will end up with an outline of the font if you try to cut a signature/writing font.

DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, due to the number of software updates that Cricut releases for the Design Space Apps on iOS, Android and Desktop, we cannot confirm whether single line fonts will continue to be supported, which is why we recommend you check first before purchasing.
Single line Fonts (SLF)
There are some beautiful single line fonts available to purchase if you know what you are looking for. One of our favourite companies who we purchase our fonts from is called Single Line Fonts (SLF). Below are some of their featured fonts, and these are perfect for writing inside cards with pens, or for using with the foil transfer tool on the Cricut Joy and Explore machines. If you happen to own a Cricut Maker, in addition to writing and foiling options, you can use the engraving tip on 2 mm acrylic blanks, or engrave metal pet tags and bracelets, as well as the Cricut aluminium sheets. Â
We are planning to incorporate some of these beautiful single line fonts into our NEW designs, and we will include the font information under the details of the design when they are released.

Overview of the free resources we offer​
As part of a FREE service, we want to pass on our knowledge, skills and experience to help support crafters and businesses. Our aim is to create a website which is both engaging and informative, so we will be adding documentation and videos to this section of the website. With advanced search filters, if we have added information on a specific subject, you should will be able to find it easily using a key search word at the top of the website.
Where possible, we are adding A4 documents such as cheat sheets which can be downloaded and printed off. In addition, we are adding interactive charts and tables where you can see at a glance, the differences between the Cricut cutting machines, blades and tools, and finally the materials.

Our Facebook page has a worldwide following of 35k people. However, due to the constant algorithm changes, Facebook posts are no longer being seen by our audience, so followers are missing valuable posts with video tutorials, links to freebies, Cricut cheat sheets and other important information. More so, without a search functionality on pages, it can be difficult to find any of the valuable content, so we will be adding all new articles, printable cheat sheets and videos to the website then announcing these on our Facebook page. You can still access the original photo albums for content such as links to our free projects shared through the Cricut Design Space community, watch the mini video tutorials and save the cheat sheets.
Changing preferences and settings to see Facebook page posts in your news feed
If you already follow our Facebook page, there is a way to to improve visibility of posts in your news feed, however, it is not guaranteed, as friends and group posts are always prioritised first. To change the settings, go to our Facebook page, click/tap on the ‘following button’ and change the news feed from ‘default’ to ‘favourites’. You then need to go to your Facebook account/profile, select ‘settings & privacy’, ‘settings’, ‘preferences’, ‘news feed’ and finally ‘favourites’. To add or remove a page from favourites, type the name in the search bar and it should come up. If it doesn’t come up, scroll down and select pages, then select ‘add’. A star should then appear next to the photo/name. Once you start to see posts again, a great way to support our Facebook page and help posts to be seen by a wider audience is by commenting on posts and engaging.

The Facebook group has been set up to provide a safe community for small businesses and crafters.  As we release new designs, mock-up and stock photographs, we will announce these in the group first, where active members will have exclusive access. We will then announce them on our Facebook page and in our monthly newsletter. Â
The group is still in the early stages, however, we hope it will become an engaging community of likeminded people who want to support and encourage one another, share photographs of their makes and provide tips to help fellow crafters and and support other small businesses.
YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Twitter
Video tutorials will also be posted on our YouTube channel. Reels and shorts will be uploaded to TikTok and Instagram, and Cricut cheat sheets and workarounds will be added on Pinterest, in addition to our website.
