DIGITAL LICENCE - TERMS OF USE
We have tried to keep our licensing as simple as possible. A cutting design (SVG) and images used for printing/sublimation (PNG) includes a commercial license for use on end products only. These are products which you make and sell yourself.
We appreciate that not everyone has great photography skills, or has the appropriate equipment, lighting and backgrounds, so, to support our clients and small businesses, with some of our designs, there will be an option to purchase mock-up and stock photographs. In addition, we will be selling stock photographs for scene creation as it can be expensive purchasing accessories and props. These options allow products to be listed online to gauge interest before ordering in stock.
Whilst some of the photographs can only be purchased as an add-on for a digital design (SVG or PNG), there are potential savings to be made where some suppliers will provide you with discounts on bulk orders. Alternatively, after gauging interest online, your orders can potentially be be adjusted to a smaller quantity when you order, to avoid surplus stock sitting around which cannot be used on other products.
We provide three types of product photographs:
- Mock-up photograph(s) – add-on
These are photographs of the end product without the actual design purchased. If you personalise or offer variable end products, you can edit your SVG or PNG design, flatten or save the SVG or PNG with a transparent background, then place it over a mock-up photograph to create your own photographs. These can then be uploaded to your online store to gauge interest.
- Stock photograph(s) – add-on
No editing is required as the photograph includes the design. These are uploaded to your online store to gauge interest.
- Stock photograph(s) – scene creator
These are purchased individually. A scene creator/theme builder consists of single elements such as a background setting/digital paper and props such as a vase. These can be used to create your own mock-ups of end products using your own designs or designs purchased from Aqua Design Studio. They can then be uploaded to your online store to gauge interest.

All files within the zip folder can only be used by the person who has purchased the design.
To protect your own work from copyright infringement, we recommend that you add your company logo or watermark any photographs that you share online, including, but not limited to all social media platforms. This will prevent others from using your images without your permission. This includes adding your logo or a watermark to any mock-up and stock photographs that you purchase from Aqua Design Studio.
What you CANNOT do with Aqua Design Studio files:

You are NOT allowed to claim a digital design or photograph as your own.

You are NOT allowed to use a digital design to make dies, stamps, stencils, molds etc for resale.

You are NOT allowed to use any digital designs or photographs for Print on demand (POD).

You are NOT allowed to sell a design as a transfer or a screen print.

Where this product is a digital download file, it CANNOT be returned or refunded.

All licenses are individual, and they can be identified by an SKU number. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, or there is a problem with the design or photograph, before leaving a review, please send an email to: michelle@aquadesignstudio.co.uk along with the SKU number and as much information as possible, attaching screen shots. We will do our best to resolve any issues you may have. We are a UK company, so there may be a delay in response time due to timezone differences.
