Analytical / statistic cookies
We use Google Analytics to track the number of visitors, how long they stay on our website for, and what parts of the website and content they visit. This cookie contains no personal identifiable information, but it does use your IP address to determine where in the world you are accessing our website from, and it tracks your page visits within the website, as well as tracking repeat visits. This is also sometimes known as ‘web audience measurement’ tool.
Strictly necessary cookies / logging of session data
Most cookies are known as session cookies, and they only last for the duration of your visit, then they are deleted when you close your browser or your session ends. This type of cookie does not collect any personally identifiable information about you, and does not track your browsing habits. Strictly necessary cookies are required by the website to function property.
Functionality cookies
These are used to enhance the performance of the website and personalise your browsing experience by remembering your preferences such as a username, items in your basket and which region you are visiting from to display products in your local currency, or show you local news such as a weather forecast.
Our website is set for registered users only. Anyone can browse through the content of our website, however, to place an order with Aqua Design Studio, we require registration, and for a user to be logged into a secure area of our website before placing an order. The functionality cookie does not contain personal identifiable information, however, it is used so that you can login securely without the need to re-register. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember me”, your login will persist for two weeks. Links to other websites / third-party cookies
We embed external content from third-party websites and platforms, for example: links to our social media channels and affiliate links to reputable websites and platforms of interest. When you use these links, you will leave our website, and you should note that these websites will have their own cookie policy and privacy policy. We cannot be responsible for your protection and the privacy of any such information that you provide to them whilst visiting the third-party website or platform. Payments
Aqua Design Studio uses payment gateway systems, for example: Stripe and PayPal. These systems validate card details securely, encrypt data to keep card details safe, in addition to processing payments quickly once set up. These platforms have their own functional cookie policies and privacy policies to protect your data from unauthorised access, fraud prevention and encrypt data to provide authentication so that you don’t need to login each time. When setting up your payment method, we recommend that you check your preferred payment provider’s cookie policy and privacy policy, as we have no control over the personal information which you provide to them.
Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may however prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.
