TOOLS REQUIRED:
- A premium fine point blade.
- A scoring stylus (for the Cricut EXPLORE and MAKER Machines), OR a single scoring wheel (for Cricut MAKER machines only). If you don't have these, you can use a boning /paper creaser tool.
MATERIALS:
- 2 x A4 sheets of medium weight cardstock for base and lid
- If adding a tray for homemade truffles, you will need a 3rd A4 sheet (to match the above)
- A4 heavyweight cardstock/glitter card for the tree & star
- Adhesive glue / red double sided tape
- 2-3mm width ribbon
- Mini bells
When you select 'Make it' you will be prompted to insert the premium fine point blade and scoring tool. If you don't have the single scoring tool or a maker machine you can change the scoring wheel to stylus.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLING THE TRUFFLE BOX:
- For the base and lid - with the triangle pointing upwards fold up.
- Fold flap A inwards.
- Fold the left side up.
- Fold in and over flap A.
- Fold in flap B.
- Fold up
- Fold in and over flap B.
- Fold flap C inwards.
- Fold backwards
- Fold in and over flap C.
- Place triangle inside the lid/base
The tray for the homemade truffles is optional. See diagram below.
Use glue/double sided red tape to attach the star to the top of the tree.
Thread 8 bells onto the ribbon, and using double sided red tape, secure the ribbon to the back of the tree near the top. Wrap the ribbon around the tree, positioning the bells at the front, then cut the ribbon with approx. 1 inch excess to allow you to secure it to the back.
Now add double sided red tape or glue to the back of the tree and adhere it to the top of the lid.
